Description

I've been pretty tied up lately with schoolwork, so when two of my teachers decided to push tests (that were supposed to be tomorrow) back by two days, I take it as a sign that I can USE THE TIME GIVEN TO ME TO DRAW.

:iconwemo11:

On a more related note, I've always wanted to do webcomic/manga/visual novel stuff so I thought that I might as well take the first step and just start already. I keep putting it off by thinking that "Oh, I'll wait for my art to get better. Then I'll start." But I'd probably never be satisfied enough with my art to start. Hah. That rhymed. XD

So I just decided to screw that and begin. So this is the realization of an idea I got one day, busing home after dark. Yes, it's a love story. Yes, this is going to be cheesy. Yes, the eleven-year-old me would be despairing right now. But this seems like a good starting point, so I'll just begin.

By the way, I need a name for the girl. And I need a name for the guy too. Any suggestions?

I'd talk more about the plot but it's so short I don't want to give it away… You'll just have to read along and see!

I don't really have a timeframe for updating, sorry, so it'll just be whenever I have time. I'll upload page by page and hopefully this will finish sometime before next summer (hahahaha)

I'm actually still more interested in horror/supernatural/adventure so be assured that the next one will be darker!

The water reflections are gorgeous! * 0 *
You've probably noticed by now, but the black text isn't the easiest to read on the relatively dark background; to combat this, I would suggest adding a light-coloured softglow (brushing either under the text layer or on the locked text layer with a low-opacity airbrush can work) or an outline.  I really like the font (or is that your handwriting?!) you used though! ^^
I also like the hairstrands, but I think the shape of her head is a little odd? Or perhaps it's the shape of the earmuffs that's throwing me off....?
